The Studio Project (2017-2018)
The Studio Project received support from the Humboldt Community Access and Resource Center (HCAR), Eureka, CA, ($10,000). The Krause Family Foundation implemented a pilot project to explore small learning communities for artists of various abilities and disabilities in attendance at HCAR's The Studio. The purpose of the project was to help ensure the highest level of creativity and personal success for the visionary artists and to advance and promote The Studio as a dynamic learning environment for artists at various stages of artistic and professional achievement. The role of Krause Family Foundation staff was to provide consult and assistance in areas of curriculum and instruction and grant development.
