AARP Community Challenge Grant

AARP Community Challenge Grant (2021). This CLCL project connected Honolulu's Chinatown neighborhood elders with climate change research scientists, artists, and civic leaders in a workshop series. The workshops' purpose was founded on the idea that collaborations between art and science can lead to new understandings. Elders:

• Shared and learned about the climate crisis impacting their families and neighbors.

• Created a collaborative, temporary art installation to give voice and form to a collective community goal to mitigate climate change.
